This role is critical in executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This role reports to a HR Business Partner and is directly aligned to a defined employee population of ~130 people. Essential Responsibilities • Act as liaison between management and employees managing employee relations issues and supporting on company´s policies, procedures and practices: • Maintain trustful relations to employee representation bodies, e.g. local works councils • Partner with HR Business Partners, support “OneHR” model and interfacing effectively with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g. Recruiting, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll) to execute business-specific HR strategies and ensure consistency in programs and processes • Provide dedicated guidance, coaching. mentorship and support, to multiple managers and employees on functional processes: o Performance Development o Employee relations management o Career development and talent assessment o Acquisition and retention, organizational changes initiatives o Facilitate New Employee Orientation, New Manager Assimilation Sessions and conduct trainings • Drive, support and coordinate the staffing process: o Planning and identifying recruiting needs with the management o Mentoring managers in the job design o Coordinate with the COE Recruiting o Assisting and driving managers in selecting and testing applicants o Providing support to managers and new employees in the onboarding and induction o Providing mentorship and support to managers for employees probationary reviews • Partner with management in the Comp&Ben topics according to policies and C&B´s guideline: o Propose and define salary, work on payroll simplification projects o Assist managers and employees with questions regarding benefits, payroll and troubleshooting issues • Work with local leaders to identify the training needs and with the Learning and Development Managers to assess, develop and deliver training programs as needed • Develop, adapt, support and implement pragmatic initiatives to meet organizational goals • Drive and coordinate employee communications • Drive/conduct special projects, plant initiatives and community events • Managing HR systems (Oracle HR) in order to maintain integrity of employee and organizational data • Ensure compliance with local legislation such as Working Hours Act, immigration laws as well as the collective agreement Qualifications/Requirements • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or related discipline • Several years of work experience in a Human Resources position with responsibilities such as staffing/recruiting, training, employment laws and regulations, employee development management or compensation & benefits • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment with high volume workload • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interface and connect with employees and leaders at all levels within the organization, with a genuine desire to assist and influence positively others • Proactive approach and enthusiastic team player with positivity and a strong drive to develop, adapt and implement programmatic initiatives to meet organizational goals • Responsive solutions-oriented approach: ability to assess situations, apply concepts and propose creative solutions to resolve issues of moderate complexity or unfamiliar problems through immediate action and/or short term planning and using independent judgment based on the analysis of information (including such as company data ability or based on practice or previous experience) • Flexible and inquisitive approach to support leaders on change management within the organization • Discretion and confidentiality: maintain and protect confidential and personal information and data with utmost discretion, scrutiny, judgment, and care • Fluent in German and English • Proven compliance understanding • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint According to Austrian law, job postings need to include the minimum salary for a position. Dependent on the qualification and experience the monthly gross salary provided for this position is a minimum of € 2,600.00 based on full-time employment.
