LEAD CLOUD ENGINEER IOT (M/F)

Responsibilities:

• Defining the infrastructure including the security layers for a scaled and high available cloud architecture
• Plan, design and enhance the cloud infrastructure using on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Lead the research and evaluation of third party technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities
• Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams
• Use modern software design processes and tools for concept, design & testing of software for current products and new developments

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or any other related degree
• Experience with software implementation and architectural design
• Strong experience in designing and deploying applications at scale using high availability and cluster architecture patterns utilizing public cloud providers like as Amazon, MS Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with cloud management tools like Ansible, Chef or similar (infrastructure as code)
• Experience with large scale distributed platform experience with SOA, Microservices, Docker, and/or Kubernetes
• Affinity to design software on a high quality and maintainability level

Desired Characteristics:

• Knowledge regarding software development and related processes (Agile)
• Experience with modern data storage engines for time series and relational data in distributed environments like Cassandra, Redis, Postgres / Mysql or others
• Familiarity in dealing with large data sets (Big Data) and related technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Experience with Tableau or other reporting tools
• Experience with front-end development and Digital Hub concepts
