Proposal Manger – Overhaul & Repair (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Wing-to-wing proposal management (pricing, DOA, Policy 5.0, etc.) for overhauls and repairs. Own and manage the global ITO risk-review process including deal pricing and delegation of authority for overhaul and repair offers
• Responsible for the customer specific technical clarification as well as price and cost calculation for overhauls and repairs including modifications and upgrades accordingly to the customer needs
• Creation of non-standard proposals for all overhaul products; support on standard proposals for all overhaul products
• Preparation of all proposal / contract related documents (calculations, specifications, engine-specific product descriptions)
• ITO contact point to Technology ... task owner for proposals
• Ensure prioritization of proposals; deal & structure alignment w/ all involved parties
• Secure DoA compliance for all overhaul deals and presentation of deals in risk reviews
• Active support of sales team in customer negotiations
• Execute booking / handover of orders to OTR
• Close alignment with NU Commercial functions to prepare joint and customer-specific LCC solutions
• Contribute to commercialization of new / improved overhaul products and training of commercial organization on such products (internal + CP’s) in close cooperation with Service Product Line Management
• Contribute in continuous improvement process of standard commercial templates
• Focus on customer alignment and simplification initiatives in order to ensure qualitative and effective overhaul and repair proposals

 Your Profile: 

• Technical education (Apprenticeship, Higher Technical School) with significant adequate experience
• Experience in relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engine industry
• Highly developed Project Management skill-set as well as excellent analytical skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a structured manner, to handle stress and to set priorities
• Very good communication and negotiation skills
• Reliable and strong teamplayer
• Demonstrated external focus & inclusiveness
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel (20%)
