Senior PMO Manager (m/f/d)

INNIO Group, Jenbacher & Waukesha Gas Engines, is looking for a Senior PMO Manager (m/f/d) to support transformation for bottom line growth and profitability, located in Jenbach (Austria).

Essential Responsibilities:

• The Senior PMO Manager plays an instrumental role within the Transformation Office (TMO)
• You will coordinate closely with the business owners of Value Creation Program projects. This role’s responsibility encompasses all transition project planning activities around development and implementation of targeted projects to ensure an increasing bottom line profitability
• In this role, special attention has to be paid to full alignment across functions and inter-dependencies
• You will secure buy-in from the organization for the jointly developed project plans while challenging the project teams on timing and impact of their initiatives
• During the implementation phase of Value Creation Programs, your responsibility is to help track progress and report back to senior management any deviations from the original plan in terms of timing, budget, bottom-line impact or cash-flow impact
• Provide guidance and leadership to project teams around critical activities to meet overall deadlines and actively look for cost and timeline improvements, with ability to quickly navigate around potential obstacles and drive development of mitigation plans
• Within the TMO you will support any required analyses and business cases for decision-making with a high level of rigor in a hypothesis-driven manner

Qualification and Responsibilities: 

• Business Management or Technical Master’s Degree or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical thinking
• Experience in strategy work is a plus
• Excellent project management skills, familiarity with standard project management tools is a plus
• Ability to evaluate complex project proposals and work plans
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams within a multinational organization and a large financial responsibility/impact
• Ability to deliver results on time and on target independently and manage expectations
• Understanding of the bigger picture and ability to prioritize key activities
• Hands-on and can-do attitude, clear drive to output and results
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and ambiguity and adjust quickly to changes
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Impactful stakeholder management (internally and externally)
• Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions

Desired:

• Good understanding of ERP systems functionality, major analytics tools, etc.
• Consulting or private equity background with one of the market leading firms is a plus
• Fluent English and German speaker

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.390,26 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
