Senior Project Manager - Finance (m/f/d)

This role will partner with the INNIO Head of Controlling and Head of Group Accounting and oversee various Finance process improvement projects which were identified during studies undertaken by renowned consultancy firms. Areas covered will include a broad spectrum of topics like Chart of Accounts setup, line item reconciliation, cash and inter-company reconciliation automation, improvement of the setup of respective sub-ledgers, closing process automation as well as several other smaller initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop in depth understanding of existing business policies, processes including chart of account setup, reporting structure, month close, sub-ledger setup
• Partnering with project leaders to build and execute project plans that drive accountability, clarity on status and timely execution of deliverable
• The Senior Project Manager is going to be the single point of contact for the IT team for status updates while also driving accountability / transparency on key deliverable
• Leverage learning from prior Accounting / Controlling experience to find best in class solutions that fit the needs of INNIO, if needed engaging with external stakeholders, consultancy firms to acquire tools / know-how that improves process efficiency / reduces cost
• One of the key Power users / administrators of the Unit4 software used in the INNIO group financial planning and strategic update processes

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with distributed teams 
• Hands-on approach and autonomous in work 
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Ability to challenge existing processes, problem solving 
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Experience with industrial products/businesses
• Prior experience with managing closing, planning, financial accounting and reporting system setup
