The purpose of the role of a Training Program Manager for the Jenbacher Services Non-technical Training Program is to lead the development and implementation of a training curriculum that enhances the non-technical skills (personal skills, process skills, etc.) of the global customer facing Jenbacher Services personnel. This role is responsible for identifying the training  needs of service personnel, developing training programs to address those needs and to make sure the training modules are delivered in a way that they are engaging and effective. The ultimate goal is to better equip the customer facing Services personnel to handle difficult situations, communicate effectively with customers and provide a positive customer experience at every customer interaction.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify the non-technical training needs of the defined target groups by assessing the current skill levels and identifying the areas where improvements are needed
  • Develop a non-technical training program that addresses the identified training needs, including training materials, lesson plans and assessments. This may involve in-person training or digital training concepts, such as eTraining, live online sessions, video training, podcasts, etc.
  • Deliver training to the defined target group in a way that is engaging and effective, based on own level of expertise of required training topics
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program by collecting feedback from the students and ideally by analyzing their performance after completing the training
  • Modify and update the training program based on the feedback and performance data collected to continuously develop the skill levels of the students for their daily work
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders like leadership, other departments or third party training providers to ensure that the training program is aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure that the training program is aligned with all relevant compliance, legal and safety regulations
  • Assist in managing the budget and resources for the training program and ensure that training modules are delivered within budget and on time

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or masters degree in education, business or comparable
  • Several years of experience in a comparable role in the adult business education environment
  • Flexible and able to cope with changing priorities and to work under pressure
  • The ability to effectively communicate with participants, trainers and all other internal and external stakeholders is critical for the success of the training program
  • The ability to manage training initiatives, timelines, and budgets and to manage multiple training projects simultaneously
  • The ability to analyze data, identify training needs and to adapt to changes in the requirements of the training program to meet the needs of participants and trainers
  • Familiarity with technology and software used for training delivery and management
  • Understanding the business goals and objectives of the organization is important to ensure that the training program aligns with the overall strategy
  • Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.112,78 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
