Financial Analyst - Manufacturing (m/f/d)

This role will cover a range of core activities in the Jenbacher Operations Finance team including controlling and maintenance of our standard costs, financial ownership for our specialist sparkplug subsidiary and inventory accounting support. These activities all play an important role in the success of Operations function with direct impacts on product cost, profitability, and financial statement accuracy.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Coordinates and maintains standard costs for the business.  This includes running the annual cost roll-up, verifying results with Sourcing, Manufacturing and the Product Cost teams, and maintenance and analysis during the year
• Controls the finances of our sparkplug subsidiary in Kapfenberg.  This includes full P&L planning (sales, margins, fixed costs, capex, inventory), being point of contact for the third party book-keeper, and finance support for the operations staff
• Ensuring accurate consolidation accounting and compliance with statutory regulations
• Supports the Lead Inventory Accountant.  Assist in the monthly closing process, carries out WIP job variance checks, provides reports to the operations teams covering topics such as receipts of stock, intransit material, and inventory count results

Your Profile: 

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance/Business Administration and /or equivalent experience
• Excellent Excel ability
• Strong managerial accounting skills, including understanding of standard costing and variance analysis
• Ability to work across functions and with internal and external partners
• Clear thinker, problem solving attitude
• First experience in a finance role
• Fluent English, German is a plus
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.960,87 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
