Senior New Product Introduction Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior New Product Introduction Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Procurement Team at INNIO. The Senior New Product Introduction Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d) is a key role within the INNIO Direct Material Procurement Team which requires intensive cross functional working with stakeholder functions. In this role, you will plan, execute and report the status on all sourcing activities required to support allocated New Product Introduction projects. The successful candidate will have sound technical and project management experience gained from working within a high value product environment (production and development).

Your Responsibilities:  

• Acting as the Sourcing core team member for major New Product Introduction projects
• Define and align project targets and activity-based timelines for sourcing  
• Cross functionally drive New Product Introduction projects to ensure that Sourcing pre-requisites & Sourcing deliverables are delivered in a timely manner and exceed expectations
• Manage cross-functional interfaces - engage with key stakeholders, manage key relationships across Engineering, PLM, Operations & Sourcing
• Connect with Category Councils as an extended member to ensure continuity with New Product Introduction projects and Multi Generation Product Plans
• Support Group Category Leaders and contribute to advanced sourcing activities (supplier capability assessment, selection) for allocated New Product Introduction projects
• Drive formal agreements (e.g. Platform specific strategies & Supplier selections etc.) through the Supply Chain & Sourcing Board
• Represent the Sourcing Function at formal Design & Tollgate reviews

 

Your Profile:  

• Extensive working experience in Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain or a technical role, ideally within an international company operating in a relevant industry to INNIO
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business management related discipline or relevant work-based experience
• An excellent general understanding of the New Product Introduction (=NPI) process as well as an understanding of the Sourcing specific deliverables into the NPI process
• Strong Project / Program management skills which can be applied to a cross functional context
• An ability to interpret general technical topics and apply appropriate Sourcing actions as required
• An ability to manage / interpret project management data e.g. Planning Bills of Material (BoMs) etc.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Team player mentality with a continuous improvement mindset
• Fluent in English (oral and written), German and/or other language skills are an advantage
• Experienced with the use of all Microsoft Office applications with an advanced level in Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time to our global supply base

 

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.112,78 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
